Online Media Executive

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree, preferably a Master’s degree in E-Commerce, Marketing, Advertising, Hotel or a related field
  • 1-2 years of working experience in a related area
  • Fluent English and Cantonese language skills are mandatory, good Mandarin skills would be advantageous
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Basic knowledge of IT systems and networking platforms; ability to understand IT and system diagrams and business cases
  • Knowledge of complex marketing objectives, tactics and strategies as they relate to online and digital marketing
  • Team player with positive, can do attitude
  •  Strong interest in the hospitality industry
  • Solid understanding of working with dynamic websites
  •  Ability to work in conjunction with independent agencies
  • Intellectual and analytical curiosity – initiative to dig into the ‘why’ of various results
  • Maintain and assist with online campaigns and paid search programs for The Venetian Macao, Sands Macao, The Plaza Macao, Sands Cotai Central, Sands Rewards Club, Sands Resorts Cotai Strip Macao and supported hotel, retail, entertainment and other brands
  • Assist in the planning and deployment of all outgoing digital communication including creative brief process, ad creative development and approvals with agencies
  • Budget support with online media manager to reconcile invoices from online media vendors with supporting reports for campaign performance and budgets
  • Work with in-house production agency on creative briefs, material specifications, Q/A testing, enhancements for online banners or advertorials production, and to smooth out any production related issues
  • Prepare monthly reports with data analysis for Search Engine marketing and optimization
  • Work closely with the Analysts to gather reports from reporting tools; Deploy and track digital communications, work with the team to produce reports on key metrics (open rates, click thru rates, tracking of offer performance, sales, etc) and make recommendations on optimizing future campaigns.
  • Work closely with agency to check on common online channels, including displays, search and social media regularly in order to monitor competitors’ moves;  gather and prepare campaign post reports with screenshots from agency for live campaigns, both display and paid search
  • Work in conjunction with other stakeholders to support offline programs with e-commerce programs as necessary
